Referee Week in Review
USSF publishes the Referee Week in Review which provides the latest interpretations and guidance for referees. The review provides examples based on professional matches with narrative and video clips. Paul Tambarino, USSF Director of Referee Development and Brian Hall, USSF Manager of Assessment and Training, collaborated on this informative publication which breaks down the steps referees should follow in their decision making. It is applicable to referees of all grades. The review is authoritative and is to be used by referee instructors and assessors in providing the latest information to referees. The reviews can be accessed from the Referee Program page on the USSF web site (http://www.ussoccer.com/Referees/Week-In-Review.aspx).

USSF has released the Advice to New Referees, which both new and experienced referees will find instructional and interesting.

League/Club Referee Assignors can be found on the District Contacts page. If you are looking for an assignment in a League near you, or will be visiting another League's area and would like to ask for a game assignment, contact that League's assignor.

The United States Soccer Federation National Program for Referee Development has released new guidance for referees on "Cautions and Cautionable Offenses." This new guide will also be of interest to players, coaches, and spectators.
