Information for Soccer Refereesprovided byCNRA - District 4Neutral Referee Program | ![]() |
The District 4 Neutral Referee Program (D4NRP) is established to provide a pool of experienced referees for the District IV Competitive League, Golden State Soccer League (GSSL) games held within District IV, and for youth State Cup, Association Cup and Founder's Cup tournaments held within the district. D4NRP center assignments are the most challenging matches in District 4 youth soccer and do require some travel within the district. Assignments are for referee only for GSSL U15Gold Boys and Girls and U16-19 Gold/Silver/Bronze. The ARs are provided by the hosting club.
The NRP Coordinator is Rich Bernat (rbernat@astound.net). Referees interested in participating in the NRP can sign up as a new referee at the Refscheduler web site (http://www.refscheduler.net/soccer/SSPDBVar.asp?L1=CA-N&L2=4&L3=D4NRP). Please provide a short summary of your refereeing experience and a reference from an assignor/assessor or experienced senior referee to rbernat@astound.net. That would help in determining whether these matches are suitable for you.
Schedules for NRP games can be found at http://www.refscheduler.net/. You must get your log-on from Rich before accessing the schedule.
Golden State Soccer League Rules and Procedures are at http://www.goldenstatesoccer.com/rules/index.html
